Accessories for Tacking at Equal Distances
With a specific accessory, the power tool can be used for tacking at equal distances from the material edge. The accessory is only suitable for the AdvancedTacker 18V-25.
- With the spacer (16), you can set an equal distance of 1 cm to 5.5 cm between the fastener and the material edge.
Note: To load the magazine (12), you have to remove the spacer (16) from the power tool.
Tacking at equal distances from the material edge (see figures B1−B2)
Note: For tacking at equal distances, the spacer (16) must be clicked into the slots (14) on the power tool.
- Insert a suitable staple strip (20) or nail strip (21).
- Click the lugs of the spacer (16) one by one into a slot (14) on the power tool, which specifies the appropriate distance from the material edge.
- Guide the power tool vertically over the workpiece until the workpiece edge reaches the front edge of the spacer (16).
- Firmly press the power tool down until the tacker head (1) is fully pushed in.
- Maintain the contact pressure and press the trigger (5).
- Once the staple/nail has been completely driven in, release the trigger (5) , lift the tacker head (1) from the material and push the tacker head (1) along the workpiece edge.
- Position the next staple or nail.
